As we leave March and enter spring, we can look out and see gardens growing.
But the D-party does nothing. It prints signs and t-shirts, indeed. But on the actually-doing-something front they have done effectively nada (apart from the incessant drizzle of requests for money.)
Yeah, the d-party has over the years, with the climactic disaster of Biden running for a 2nd term, has handed the keys, the house, the car, and the passwords over to the maga-mob. So yes, the d-party is in a power vacuum of its own creation.
Getting out of the power-vacuum will be hard; those who do it need to be brave and will often suffer for it. But what are our elected representatives being paid for? They clearly have plenty of time on their hands, because there's not much they can do in Congress except watch the R-party dominate.
So, D-party, esp. elected ones - remember the final words of the Declaration of Independence:
"we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor."
