It will soon be April - tax month here in the US.
There is certainly a question whether our Federal taxes will be usurped and used for maga/project-2025 purposes despite a lack of Constitutionally required appropriation from Congress.
I wish there were a mechanism in which we could pay into an escrow that will be held away from "the gummit" until such time as a satisfactory guarantee, backed by solid evidence of binding commitment, is given that the taxes will be spent only via a Congressional appropriation.
Here's the Constitutional requirement:
Article I, Section 9, Clause 7:
No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time.
