SCOTUS - erasing our Constitution one clause at a time.
First they threw out the 14th's "Privileges and Immunities", then they erased half of the 2nd Amendment, now they won't let states enforce the insurrection clause of the 14th amendment - saying that Congress must legislate despite *not* requiring Congress to legislate on the similar Article II requirements of age 35, being "natural born citizen", and being a resident for 14 years.
Why does SCOTUS insist on requiring Congress to legislate on this one matter - that of not being an insurrectionist - but gives a pass to the other requirements for holding office as president?
There is certainly ambiguity - does the 35 years of age clock start ticking in Alabama when an IVF embryo is created?
When it comes to consistency, our Supreme Court justices are dumb as rocks
